Job Description

AFRY in Trollhättan, within the Automotive sector, is now looking for a Geometric Assurance Engineer who wants to contribute to our ongoing development of future vehicles.

As a Geometric Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our technical projects and deliveries meet the highest standards of precision.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing geometric calculations and analyses to ensure form and function.
• Conducting tolerance calculations and verifying that all components and subsystems meet the specified requirements.
• Analyzing and documenting geometric variations during the development process and in construction.
• Cross-functional collaboration with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to optimize design solutions and resolve any geometric issues.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent).
• Experience in geometric calculations and tolerance calculations; experience from the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Good knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Catia, Creo).
• Knowledge of simulation software, e.g., RD&T, 3DCS.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems with high accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams in a dynamic work environment.
